The Rotary Club of Albany is offering presale tickets for the FIFTH Annual Upstairs Downtown Albany Wine Walk. Tickets can be purchased at at the Albany Visitor’s Association (Located at 110 SE 3rd Ave Albany, OR 97321) for $15 each.
Purchase of the pre-sale ticket will entitle you to one wine glass and 5 scrip tickets (that can be exchanged for 5 wine tastes at the Wine Walk). Please redeem pre-sale tickets at the FLINN BLOCK ticket sales location after 3 pm on May 3, 2013.
Due to requirements under Oregon law, on the night of the Wine Walk, we ask that you present your presale ticket at the FLINN BLOCK ticket redemption location, to present your ID, and redeem your ticket for the wine glass and scrip tickets and get your hand stamped. (We previously stated that you had to present it at the AVA location, which was incorrect. Our apologies for the mistake.)

Ladies and gentlemen! The Upstairs Downtown Albany Wine Walk will have a number of new wineries and venues, as well as some old favorites. For your planning pleasure, please take a look at 2013 Map of Downtown Albany stores and local wineries.
On Friday, May 3, 2013, you can begin purchasing tickets at 4:00 p.m. at the Flinn Block (222 1st Ave W) and at the Albany Historic Carousel and Museum (503 1st Ave W).
If you have purchased presale tickets, they MUST be redeemed at the Flinn Block ticket sales location. To read more about presale tickets, click here.
For those of you who are already planning on attending the Wine Walk, here is some of the information that you will need:
The wine walk begins this year at 4:00 p.m., and will continue on until 8:30 p.m. Please keep in mind that some stores and wineries have chosen this year to stop serving at 8:00 p.m.
Presale ticket vouchers will be available NOW at the Albany Visitor’s Association. You can buy presale vouchers there up until the day of the event. The Albany Visitor’s Association is located at 110 SE 3rd Ave Albany, OR 97321. Their website is at http://albanyvisitors.com/.
Join us on the first Friday in May from 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. when the Rotary Club of Albany hosts the popular Upstairs Downtown Albany Wine Walk, presented by Pacific Power and Central Willamette Community Credit Union.

Folks, there are just 101 days until the next wine walk! This year we will concentrate on First Street venues, and have already confirmed sixteen wineries (with more to come!) We are working on making this the best Upstairs Downtown Albany Wine Walk yet. Wine Walkers, keep an eye on this website, as we hope to offer presale tickets for purchase via credit card for this year’s event.

The NW Art & Air Festival, to be held on August 26 – 28, in Albany, Oregon, will partner with the Rotary Club of Albany for the first time this year to host a character balloon in the shape of a Panda’s head.
This balloon will help raise money for Rotary International’s fight to eradicate Polio worldwide. The members of the Rotary Club of Albany are selling raffle tickets, for a chance to win a ride in the Panda Balloon at the festival. Only 250 raffle tickets have been printed. Cost is $20 each. Tickets are available from Albany Rotary Club Rotarians or at the Albany Visitor’s Association. Email albanywinewalk@gmail.com for more information.
